About Peter

Meet Peter Migner

A pastor, author, and speaker with a heart for people who love Jesus but feel they've lost their place among His people.

Pastor Peter S. Migner
The Story

A heart for people who feel they've lost their place

Peter Migner's ministry has always carried a particular tenderness toward the wounded and the disconnected—the "homeless Christians" who still love Jesus but no longer feel they belong anywhere.

That burden—for believers who have drifted from the church but never from Christ—shapes the message he preaches, the people he serves, and eventually became a book.

The Journey

A lifetime given to people, the local church, and the mission of Jesus

For more than three decades, Peter Migner has served in pastoral ministry, church leadership, community outreach, and marketplace chaplaincy. His ministry has taken him through different seasons and settings, but the central calling has remained the same: helping people take their next step toward Jesus and helping the church become what God intended it to be.

Pastoral Ministry

Peter currently serves as Senior Pastor of the DeLand Church of the Nazarene in DeLand, Florida, where he has spent many years investing in people, developing leaders, and serving the local community. His pastoral experience includes church leadership, youth ministry, church revitalization, discipleship, preaching, and raising up leaders for ministry.

Beyond the Church Walls

Peter has also served for years as a marketplace chaplain, bringing pastoral care and spiritual conversations into the everyday workplace. He has worked with community organizations, served in leadership roles, and trained pastors and church leaders internationally—including a 2026 training in Zambia where he helped equip more than 200 leaders alongside a team of fellow trainers—always looking for ways the church can move beyond its walls and reach people where they actually live and work.

Education & Training

Peter holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Eastern Nazarene College. He is also a Certified Master Trainer with Dynamic Church Planter International (DCPI).

What Has Remained Constant

The locations have changed. The assignments have changed. The seasons have changed. The calling hasn't.

Peter remains committed to Scripture, the local church, leadership development, and reaching people who may be disconnected from the church but have not necessarily disconnected from Jesus.

His passion is simple: help people find their way back to Jesus, back to community, and back to a life of meaningful faith.
